At the grand finale of this year’s ADAC Masters Weekend at the Hockenheimring, ADAC President, Hermann Tomczyk, announced the provisional calendar for the 2012 season.
The sixth year of this successful race series will once again have eight fixtures, with a total of 16 races taking place in Germany and two neighbouring countries.
As before, the first round of the ADAC GT Masters Weekend, incorporating the ADAC GT Masters, will be run from 13 to 15 April 2012 at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. The ADAC GT Masters Supersportscars that will race in the Sachsenring and Eurospeedway rounds will make their guest appearance here.
The ADAC Truck Grand Prix premiered at the Nürburgring as part of the 2011 ADAC GT Masters Weekend. Its debut race proved as popular as the Supersportscars with the 212,000 spectators who turned up over that weekend, and the ADAC Truck Grand Prix will return to the Eifel track in 2012.
For the two rounds held outside of Germany, fans, teams and drivers of the ADAC Masters Weekend series can look forward to a return to the Red Bull Ring in Austria, and Zandvoort in the Netherlands.
The grand finale of the 2012 season will once again be held at the Hockenheimring.
